2/7/08 "Waiting"

We are waiting around to see if our kids get chicken pox...(see: http://www.dennisandsarahcook.blogspot.com/) so while we are waiting, we will pray.

Have you ever waited for something that was truly important to you? Did God respond to you (for better or worse) while you waited? We are to be patient when praying to God. God will make all things work in His own time. Don't rush the Master Builder.

If we have sickness, pain, and/or loss, we know that God is bringing the one chapter to an end, and beginning another. We are the book, but God is the Author. If we are not patient, and try to write our own story, the outcome will not be divine.

Wait on the Lord.

No tender voice like Thine can peace afford
