There are a couple of things in life I can do without, but they seem to follow me around: walmart and telemarketers.
I would much rather shop in a 'mom and pop' store than walmart (no offense to any who works/ed there).
I think because we have student loans, and one credit card, we get the record number of phone calls each day from random sales people who don't speak the English language well.
I was awoken this morning at 7:15 am by one. That's not a good way to start off the morning!
So to change the focus, here is a verse I will put my trust in today:
I call on you, O God, for you will answer me; give ear to me and hear my prayer. -Psalm 17:6
I am thankful that no matter what, God does not put us on His 'no call list'. But, we should be faithful in prayer. Bro Mark said one time for us not to give our 'shopping list' prayers to Christ. Be true, honest, and sincere. Jesus taught us how to pray in Matthew 6. Don't try to set a record for most theological words in a row...just give Him your heart.
