1/30/08 "Thanks"

The storms passed last night and we are safe...now what? Give thanks. Too many times we ask for God's guidance and when we get it, we forget to say thank you. How rude of us!

Psalm 136
1 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good.
His love endures forever.
2 Give thanks to the God of gods.
His love endures forever.
3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords:
His love endures forever.
4 to him who alone does great wonders,
His love endures forever.

"Give thanks with a grateful heart
give thanks to the Holy One
give thanks because He's given Jesus Christ, His Son

And now let the weak say 'I am strong'
let the poor say 'I am rich because of what
the Lord has done for us'
