Weekend Edition (I Timothy 1:14)

14 The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.

FRIDAY - The grace of our Lord - God's grace was shown to us when He sent His Son to die on the cross for us. Our Lord is not only our Friend and Creator, He is our Savior who redeemed us from our sins. Our Lord is full of grace to share with us if we are humble in our walk and repent of our sins.

SATURDAY - was poured out on me abundantly - I am so thankful for the grace God gives to me and my family and my church on a daily basis (seen and unseen). I am thankful for the abundance of grace and how He freely gives even when we fail over and over and over…

SUNDAY - the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus - Our Christ is defined by love. (John 3:16) We are to be faithful in His call in our lives and faithful in our love to Him and our neighbor. We should follow His example (though He was perfect and we will never be) in believing through faith and sharing His love "by sharing what the Lord has done for you…by sharing of your faith…and show the world that Jesus Christ is real to you, every moment…every day!" (Share His Love, 1991 The Baptist Hymnal)
